Scotland lose Euro 2020 opener to Czech Republic in Olomouc
Patrik Schick's stunning goal was enough to give the Czech Republic a 2-1 victory over Scotland in their Euro 2020 opener on Monday night.
Scotland had taken the lead through Jack Hendry, but Schick equalised with a brilliant lob just before half-time.
The Bayer Leverkusen forward then won the game for the Czechs with a superb free-kick in the second half.
The defeat was a disappointing start to Scotland's first major tournament since the 1998 World Cup.
Steve Clarke's side will now need to beat Croatia in their next game on Friday to keep their hopes of reaching the knockout stages alive.
